The Global Open Water Swimming Conference The Global Open Water Swimming Conference in Long Beach, California on June 5th will bring together the world’s foremost experts on open water swimming. World open water swimming champions, Olympic champions, English Channel and Catalina Channel record holders, top professional marathon swimmers from the 1950’s, 1960’s, 1970’s, 1980’s and 1990’s together with some of history’s most decorated Olympic coaches and prominent triathlon coaches and personalities will share their experiences and insights on how to prepare optimally, train intelligently and swim well in the open water. Race directors of major open water swims from 14 countries will also share their visions of the future of open water swimming. Attendees can participate in a panel discussion and video analysis of the open water swimming techniques and racing tactics of the world’s best swimmers. Attendees will also be treated to dinner, receive special open water swimming products and an Open Water Swimming Almanac with all kinds of data and information.
